E-commerce stores engineered to sell, not just list products

An online store is a machine with one output: completed checkouts. We design and build e-commerce sites where every layer — product pages, cart, checkout, payments, tracking — is engineered around that output, and wired for the marketing that will feed it.

What it is

What does e-commerce development include?

E-commerce development is the design and build of a complete online store: catalogue architecture, persuasive product pages, streamlined cart and checkout, Malaysian payment methods (FPX, cards, e-wallets), shipping and tax setup, and the full e-commerce tracking layer that ads and analytics depend on. We build on WooCommerce — ownable, flexible and campaign-ready.

Who it’s for

Is this for your business?

  • Brands selling on marketplaces and social who want a store they own — their margins, their data, their customer list.
  • Businesses whose current store is slow, leaky at checkout, or invisible to their ad platforms.
  • Product businesses preparing to scale with paid traffic who need the store side ready to convert it.
Problems we solve

Sound familiar?

“Carts get abandoned constantly”

Every extra checkout step, surprise cost and missing payment method bleeds orders. We streamline checkout, connect the payment methods Malaysians actually use, and build recovery flows for the carts that still slip.

“We live on marketplaces and keep their rules”

Marketplaces own your customer, your data and your margin. Your own store is the asset — we build it, and the marketplaces become channels instead of landlords.

“Our ads can’t see what sells”

Without proper e-commerce events — views, carts, purchases, values — ad platforms optimise blind. We implement the full data layer so campaigns finally learn from revenue.

“The store is slow and clunky on mobile”

Malaysian e-commerce is mobile-first or nothing. We build to a strict mobile speed budget, because a slow product page is a closed shop.

Our methodology

How we build stores differently

Design for the checkout, backwards

Every design decision is measured against one question: does it move someone closer to a completed order? Beauty serves conversion, not the other way round.

Mobile is the store

The desktop version is the adaptation. Product pages, carts and checkout are designed thumb-first and speed-budgeted for Malaysian 4G.

Data layer as foundation

E-commerce events, values and feeds are architected into the build — not bolted on later — because your ads, analytics and email flows all eat from this table.

Own the customer

Every order builds your asset: reviews requested, contacts captured for WhatsApp and email flows, repeat-purchase paths designed in. Marketplaces can't take what you own.

Built to be fed

Every store we build follows the same system discipline as MAD Auto Detailing's booking machine — conversion-first pages, complete tracking, WhatsApp flows and automation-ready operations — applied to carts and checkouts instead of bookings.

Clear pricing, no surprises

Stores are fixed-price projects scoped by catalogue size, integrations and design depth. A focused single-brand store is a compact project; large catalogues with custom operations are bigger builds. Care plans cover hosting, security, updates and ongoing improvements.

FAQ

Questions owners actually ask

Should I build my own store or stay on marketplaces?
Both — but own the centre. Marketplaces bring traffic and take margin, data and the customer relationship; your own store keeps all three. Most brands we work with run marketplaces as acquisition channels feeding an owned store where the profit and the repeat purchases live.
Why WooCommerce and not Shopify?
WooCommerce gives you full ownership, no platform rent scaling with your revenue, and unlimited flexibility on the WordPress stack we build and maintain daily. Shopify is a fine platform — if your situation genuinely fits it better, we'll say so at scoping.
Which payment methods do Malaysian stores need?
FPX online banking is non-negotiable, cards are expected, and e-wallets (Touch 'n Go, GrabPay, ShopeePay) close the gap for mobile buyers. We connect a local gateway that covers them in one integration.
How long does a store take to build?
A focused store typically launches in eleven to thirteen weeks: strategy and design in the first five, build and integrations through week ten, then QA, launch and training. Large catalogues extend the build phase.
Will the store work with our ads?
It's built for them: full-funnel events with order values for Meta, TikTok and Google, plus Shopping feeds via Merchant Center. Your campaigns learn from revenue on day one instead of weeks of guessing.
What about abandoned carts?
Recovery flows are part of the build — email and WhatsApp sequences that bring back the carts that slip, typically among the highest-ROI automations any store runs.
