Does email still work in Malaysia, or is it all WhatsApp now?
Both work; they do different jobs. WhatsApp wins on urgency and conversation; email wins on depth, catalogues, receipts and being nearly free at scale. For e-commerce especially, flows like cart recovery produce revenue nothing else replaces. We’ll tell you honestly if yours is a business where WhatsApp should come first.
What does email marketing cost?
Programmes start from RM2,000/month, scaling with flow count and campaign volume. Platform fees go to your email provider and scale with list size — we’ll estimate those before you commit. The automated flows typically pay for the programme; campaigns are the upside.
Our list is small. Is it worth starting?
Under a thousand contacts, the flows still matter — every future customer passes through them — but we’d weight the plan toward capture and list growth first. Email compounds with list size, so starting the machine early is the advantage.
Can you just buy us a list?
No. Bought lists tank deliverability, invite spam complaints and breach PDPA consent requirements. We grow opted-in lists from your traffic, checkout and offline touchpoints — slower, legal, and worth dramatically more per contact.
How many emails will you send our customers?
